The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) is responsible for the audit of most government entities in the Cayman Islands. The OAG will consider concerns about government entities which we audit as part of our on-going risk based approach to the audit process. Complaints about a government entity can be raised with us through the following link Our Services, in writing (email or post), or in person at our offices. All complaints will be treated confidentially. It is our policy not to normally act on anonymous complaints. However we will consider them to identify whether they provide support or information relevant to other complaints or audit work we are undertaking. We will acknowledge all written complaints that we receive within 5 working days and provide a response within a further 20 working days.
Further information and guidance about how to complain to us about a government entity can be found in our policy document Raising concerns about the organisations we audit
