Professional Audit Trainee
CI$53,616 - $70,344 per annum
This is an exciting new entry-level position suitable for a Caymanian wanting to gain an accountancy qualification and start a career as an auditor. The post holder will be supported with their studies, undertake various audit duties under supervision, and work with a wide range of government clients. Qualifications & Experience: Applicants for this position must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and be motivated to start or be actively studying for an accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA). Candidates must be computer-literate and demonstrate an aptitude for audit work.
Audit Project Leader
CI$77,088 – $101,160 per annum
The post holders will assume responsibility for auditing a portfolio of Government clients, reporting to the Audit Managers. Duties include a wide range of audits on the financial statements of Ministries, Portfolios, Statutory Authorities, Offices and Government Companies, as well as performance audits and special investigations. A highly motivated self-starter is sought. Audit Project Leaders are expected to be able to work with minimal supervision. Qualifications & Experience: Applicants for the Audit Project Leader position must be qualified Accountants (i.e., ACCA, CPA) with at least 2 years of post-qualification audit experience. Information systems audit experience is desirable. Applicants must be able to prepare complex technical audit reports and make clear, concise recommendations. Pension and health care benefits are non-contributory.
