Arising from a meeting of Caribbean Auditor Generals the development of capacity and training in risk based financial audit was highlighted as a priority. The INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) in conjunction with CAROSAI have developed a training programme for this. This training was run for representatives of audit offices from across the region in early November in Grenada.
The Auditor General has been the subject matter expert for the development of this training programme, and attended a workshop in Antigua to support the development team in preparing for this training. He attended part of the training in Grenada to lend his knowledge, expertise and support in the delivery of the programme. A member of the OAG also attended the training as one of the participants.
